Nissa will be the featured poet at the Poets and Prophets About The Author:: Nissa Lee is a poet and freelance writer and a copy editor for The Press of Atlantic City. She graduated magna cum laude from Rowan University, where she received a B.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing. She also was editor of "Avant" literary magazine and featured in "The Writers' Roundtable" podcast. Nissa grew up in Estell Manor — a very small rural town nestled among the trees of southern New Jersey — and currently resides in Pitman. She draws her inspiration from a variety of visual artists and writers, including Helmut Newton, Fuco Oeda, the Bothers Grimm, Diane di Prima and Alta.
